Digiscoping is the latest technique allowing you to achieve high magnification from compact digital cameras when combined with a spotting scope. OLIVON has a new camera holder, the OLIVON UDCH, which can be utilised with the majority of compact cameras. Cameras with very large lens openings, vinjetting may be seen. One benefit of many compact cameras is that a preview of the image can be seen on the camera display. To minimize the problem it is crucial to align the optical axis of the camera and spotting scope as well as setting the correct distance between the camera objective and the scopes eyepiece. The flexibility of the new OLIVON UDCH holder allows optimum positioning of the camera to be easily achieved. To further enhance image quality by reducing shocks during shooting, OLIVON has also developed a cable release holder that can be utilised with the majority of compact digital cameras.
